Truthfully, Internet Radio provides EVERYONE the opportunity to program to their heart's content and I strongly recommend that every pirate consider that avenue... with the onslaught of Internet Radio antenna development that will allow cars, cell phones and other receivers to pick up stations off the Internet, that really is where the pirates ought to heading toward and like satellite radio it won't be regulated by the FCC....

Internet Radio isn't there yet - and won't be for a while, because it's too complicated for the average listener to use. Even with a broadband connection and one of those new Internet Radio stand-alone devices, it's a beast to setup - and don't even get me started on sound and programming quality, or disappearing sites, Royalties, etc. I know *YOU* can use it, and I know *I* can use it, and I know several more geeks and nerds that can as well. But not so, the plain-old-garden-variety-target-demo user.

Here's why radio works - even to the exclusion of satilite radio, to a huge extent: Step one - buy a radio, or a car that comes with one. Step two - turn on. Step three - find a station that plays what you like. Step four - enjoy. Nothing else (even satilite) is so insanely simple.

IMHO, YMMV.

My problem seems to be with step 3 :-\
