I got my first Broadcasting subscription when I was about 11 or 12, which would be 1957 or '58. Back then, it had a larger format, and I recall when they changed to the more standard format of other weekly trade magazines. I also bought Sponsor for a while as well as Television Radio Age, but as a kid found Broadcasting more interesting. Thanks for doing the research. I remember first reading Broadcasting in the high school library and being fascinated with the radio and tv business at age 14.
I loved reading the want ads, thinking that some day I could get one of those jobs at a real radio station.
