Once again, NOBODY is asking the president about confidential strategic information. Nobody. The press in the white house are hand picked by him.
The most recent idiotic question came, IIRC, from ABC, and was about when "he would drop an atomic bomb in Iran". ABC was not hand picked by Trump.
They ask him about the curtains in the ballroom. That's not confidential.
And it is any president's option to not answer a question or to tell a reporter if it is stupid.
The real problem is the president keeps falling asleep during meetings. He doesn't know about any strategic information. He's asleep.
President Donald Trump appeared to be sleeping during a televised Oval Office announcement of a health care deal with drug company Regeneron. It’s the latest addition to a series of public dozing epis...

Keyword "appears".
When I am bored, I start daydreaming. If the President finds some things repetitive, he can definitely tune out. And Trump also "appears" to work 12 to 15 hours a day. Heck, two days ago I did an 18 hour non-stop project revising content on WorldRadioHistory and, at one moment about 15 hours in, while a data set was being indexed, I sort of dozed off. When the app rang "finished" I continued for another 3 hours after doing two shots of Alto Grande.
You're letting your personal political bias get in the way of your brain again.
Annual revenue is $2 billion. Nobody with a brain shuts down a $2 billion company.
The revenue could be $2 trillion. If there is no profit, or minimal profit, it is time for a change. The press, in general, whether blue or red, has a very hard time distinguishing between "income" and "profit" and often confuse gross income before expenses as "profits" to demonstrate how much money they have.
And the public knows even less. The whole idea we now have up for election in California of "taxing" 5% of the worth of billionaires shows that the average person... and average state legislator... does not understand that no high net worth person has 5% of their money sitting in cash; it is all part of the market value of each person's business or investments.
The lack of understanding of economics is what brings us to such stupid ideas... and that is just as much the fault of the media as it is of the school system.
Ellison has said publicly he will be hands off.
Paramount Skydance's David Ellison maintained that CNN will remain an editorially independent news organization after his company closes its deal for Warner Bros. Discovery.

Yes, he will be "hands off" once he picks executives that mirror his wishes. That is called "delegation".
