As mentioned in the chris stigall thread, but figured it deserved its on thread- WNTP has switched branding to 990 The Answer.

Stigall says " "I can't wait to be back with the smartest audience in all of radio as we work to bring the Keystone State home again in 2020. There's never been a more exciting time in history to launch a new radio show. I'm so proud and excited to call AM990 the Answer my new home!"
So, not a format flip of course, but do we think this will increase listenership? I'd love to see some numbers during the 2016 election and see whether or not WNTP saw an uptick in audience. They have a blowtorch daytime signal so it's not hard to receieve during day, but the decrease to 10kW at the WWDB site (or is it the WKDN site?) hurts nighttime listeners badly.
I'm glad to see Salem hasn't abandoned WNTP, and I am interested to hear the new branding on air.
