Next Years NFL Draft on TV

The latest ESPN 30 for 30 film profiles the 1983 NFL Draft, and in particular, the focus was on John Elway and Dan Marino. It was also noted in the film that it was the first televised NFL Draft.

Nope; the first televised NFL Draft was in 1980 (when ESPN was only a few months old), and Chris Berman has covered every one since then. Mel Kiper Jr. would join him sometime in the late '80s/early '90s.

Chris Berman only does day one of it and should do other days to and let Wingo do Radio version.

Also if ESPN was allowed to show World Series,Super Bowl then like Fox would't have to preempt new Airings of shows like Bones and so on

The NHL Draft is held every year in a different NHL area and NBA should do the samething.

No TNt doesn't show Draft anymore but should also to if not them then NBATV or CBS.

But even though the NFL, NBA, and MLB are headquartered in New York (NHL is in Toronto)...what if one of them decides to hold their draft in Los Angeles? The Nokia Theatre -- home of the Primetime Emmys -- would be the PERFECT venue!

For as long as there is no NFL team in Los Angeles, I can't imagine the NFL Draft taking place there.
