NFL Blackout Watch '12

The last time a night game was blacked out was in 2005, also involving the Raiders (against the Giants). I guess the NFL does not want that embarrassment anymore.

Also of note, the Bucs-Eagles game in Tampa isn't being blacked out. That's only the second time in the past three seasons that has been the case for a day game. I heard they wanted to celebrate their Super Bowl-winning team from 2002, with that as a big motivation.

And it's just the second time in the entire season that an afternoon game was not blacked out in Tampa. So for this game to be blacked out would have been really sad, especially with the Bucs in the thick of the playoff race.
