Meanwhile, back on ESPN, Italy and Belgium are playing in Euro 2021. Italy leads and the American color commentator (not sure who; his partner isn't addressing him by name are there's no graphic) is impressed with their new-found positive style: "I credit Serie A for that. It's a new league with a new style." Response from his English partner: stony silence. I'd imagine both heard an ESPN producer loud and clear in their headphones reminding them that ESPN just lost its rights to the Italian league and it's not their job to be promoting the opposition's programming over the offerings of the Worldwide Leader.
