Nicole Sandler Goes Nuts At Town Hall

I finally had to see what was on this topic, and am leaving it today with a sick feeling in my gut at the mean-spiritedness of the bashers and trashers that so easily have to piss all over message boards with their snarky comments. And that turn talk radio into a high blood pressure zone. Guess it must be OK since the bosses and their well-paid followers at Fox do it to their guests and to every Democrat in office, uh huh?
And it is so easy to pick on a girl, isn't it? "Temper, temper, little lady."
There is such a lack of class in too m any sectors of this industry, which is well reflected by several contributors to this board. (Gotcha sputtering yet, boys?) I guess if you SPEAK UP to be heard by your congressman because he ignores you at a Q and A session, you should expect to be hauled off to jail and mistreated for the night. Right?? After all, a church is private property, innit? And Rep. West is a private citizen, entitled to be protected from any challenges to his authority, right?? Too bad he didn't rehearse any come back lines, but had to have his henchmen haul her away.
It looks to me that she wouldn't sit down and be quiet like a good girl and applaud his Tea Party BS by trying to ask if he's really thought thru the implications of his decisions as a Congressman. Who says a "Town Hall" should be the same as a pep rally? I say the behavior of the people who are bashing Nicole on this board is anti-American. Same goes for the thugs that hauled her out and treated her like a criminal at the jail. That might fly in an authoritarian banana republic, but it's not the "freedom" we're making 20-somethings die for all over the world now, is it?
Maybe Nicole speaking up from her seat made someone uncomfortable. So what? Does that make her a target now? He's a Congressman, for Christ's sake, pretending to take questions from his consitutients - but ends up just basking in the applause from his "fans." His lil' ol' conservative "posse." "No liberal thinking allowed!!" Sounds like the Little Rascals with a sign tacked on their clubhouse door saying "No Girls Allowed." Only this time, it's not funny.
Fire away, y'all, and prove how much you can dish it out, but not take it. Me, I'm going to go listen to Randy Rhodes on the AM radio now and have some fun!

Yes, correct, if the assembly had rules that were announced or made known in advance.
In this case, the rules were that questions were to only be submitted in advance.
