I think I know the answer to this question, but has anyone noticed that the radio stations gives little to no time to kudos or airtime to anything GOOD happening in Downtown, South Jackson, or at Metrocenter Mall? The focus of todays radio seems to be broadcasting live, kudos, or alot of airtime to places like North Jackson, "the crime free" Madison and Flowood, why nothing in South Jackson, Downtown or Metrocenter Mall? Burlington Coat Factory should have recieved high kudos for opening at Metrocenter Mall but instead all that they received was Brock of Mix 987 not speaking so highly of it? Theres so much props to Northpark Mall that it sickens me. I know the focus of today's business is to leave inner city and move toward the suburbs, but lets not forget our capitol is Jackson, the market they serve is Jackson, not Madison, Flowood, Clinton or Pearl. It seems as though even the radio stations are exploiting not only the Metrocenter area but Jackson in general. It seems as though many of us forget the treasures Metrocenter Mall, THE shopping mall of our past. When I go to the mall, I go to the same one I've gone to since I was a kid, the Metrocenter Mall. Metrocenter is on a rebound, why not give it props?
