NOAA Weather Radio and PenDot broadcast locally on the standard a.m. frequency, 1640, and often have valuable information you can't get on the commercial stations that are running on autopilot. In the days before football games neither defers to the other, so you can understand neither.
This past weekend (Fri. 9/9 and Sat. 9/10) with flooding over much of the eastern part of the state and a high profile game at Beaver Stadium, it was impossible to understand the information from either source.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
