Nobody's talking about WJSE?

Goodbye awful alternative format, hello CHR. Even though it will only go 1/4 as far
as WAYV, it will cover where the people are.

Where is this new Xmtr located, the coordinates given 39° 21' 4.00 " N Latitude 74° 26' 54.00" W Longitude, are not valid....thought the 4.00 looked strange and plugged in 14.00 but still no cigar....

Whoa, correct me if I misunderstood, but 102.7 going CHR?

102.7/WJSE - Ocean City, putting a 60dbu contour all the way up to Mystic Islands and Holgate in Ocean County...

WJSE/Ocean City and WTKU/Petersburg coming soon.

WJSE is going to move to downtown Atlantic City and it's 60 dBu contour won't hit Pomona. lol Actually, it doesn't look like it'll hit Mystic Island, either.

They don't even come close to Pomona now...

That map looks a little different than the one in their actual application. See the one at https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/prod/cdbs...h.cgi?exhibit_id=797555&formid=301&q_num=5320

Bing maps puts the arrow on the Ocean Club in Atlantic City, where the Touch is.

Isn't that the Hilton hotels by the Tropicana?

No - that would be The Ocean Club where WTTH is located.
WTTH is on "Tower One" (North) and it looks like the WJSE
application is on "Tower Two" the south tower.
If you hit bird's eye and move over and zoom you can see
the tower with the beacon on it.

Guess this is goodbye to Alt Rock in Wildwood/Cape May.......WJSE's signal is already bad down there at their current location.....They won't stand a chance against WQSR from Baltimore once they make the move up to AC.

You do have to wonder about the long-term future of WJSE. When they move to downtown Atlantic City with a highly directional signal, their "really good signal" (i.e. building/at-work penetration and $9 alarm clocks) is going to be in the Atlantic City - Ventnor - Pleasantville - Absecon area -- not exactly home to a lot of alternative rock fans. This isn't just a transmitter move!

Maybe it will become a..........

DANZ STAYSHUN!!

WJSE is ENERGY 102.7

As much as I would love for a dance format to come back to the AC market, I will bet you they would rather waste the frequency on a CHR, like we really need ANOTHER of those.
