Moving Vegas to Friday (a less-watched evening) hurt the show and CBS made their disinterest in the show clear at that point. I was happy to see the show that replaced Vegas on Tuesday was also killed (good riddance).
The premise was good. Some great characters. The show was too serialized for its own good and would have done better with episodes that could stand alone. There was also some "moralizing," in which social issues extraneous to the basic plot were introduced for no apparent reason other than to let writers show how much more "enlightened" we are today.
Michael Chiklis is a great actor (Vic Mackey, The Thing and Curly Howard). Sarah Jones is super hot. They will be back.
