Like AZJoe said, he's just gettin' started...
I could easily do the same and list 10 woefully underplayed '70s artists/songs starting with every letter. Along with at least 5/letter that are played to death! "Margaritaville/American Pie", oh let's play those yet again! :-\

One more "A" song (by title, not artist) that is almost never heard and is just an incredible song: "Ariel", Dean Friedman, 1977. I actually heard it on KGVY one afternoon recently and almost crashed the car...

So will the Stevemeister also resurrect the '60s at 6?

Even though all of us would love to hear more spins of
Brown Eyed Girl ;D, it's probably demographically dicey
to do it in the last hour of PM drive on a weekday.

What about Saturday and/or Sunday at 6? Maybe, but it
could conflict with "That '70s Weekend" (the joke part) or
whatever a given weekend's theme is (seriously).

...anyone know when we'll be hearing "That 80's Weekend" on KOOL? Nurse Jeff and I think it'll be around 2015, given the fact those tunes will have been fermented around least 30 years. Just can't wait for a Culture Club block party

Fermented music? Is that anything like a Barry Manilow-skull keg party? To quote another Dr., Dr. Denis Leary, "Here's ten bucks; bring me the head of Barry Manilow, alright? I wanna drink beer out of his empty head! I wanna have a Barry Manilow skull keg party at my apartment, OK?! You write the songs, we'll drink the beer out of your head."

Suggest this again, Doc, and I'll really want to hurt you! ;)

Careful there, chameleon. Don't upset your karma!
KMXZ down here runs an "80s Sunday" on the last Sunday of the month. Plenty of Oy! George & crew to be heard then... ;D

Sorry 'bout the Boy George Block Party suggestion. Would Milli Vanelli make you less hostile towards the Buckeye Boyz ???

...only if you put on Rob and Fab outfits (and dreadlocks) and dance around while lip-synching to "Girl You Know It's True"!
And isn't "Milli Vanelli" what you get when you combine Milli Vanilli with Gino Vanelli?

Does that 70's weekend include any Alex Chilton and Big Star? Bay City Rollers? Frank Zappa? If it's pretty much the same stuff you can hear on KSLX if you're lucky (I heard The Clash on KSLX a few days ago), what's the point?

"Saturday Night" by the Rollers is pretty standard 70s-oldies station fare. I'd be really surprised if KOOL did NOT play it. I doubt if they go DEEP into the Roller catalog ("You Made Me Believe In Magic" or "The Way I Feel Tonight", anyone?). ;D
As far as the late, great, Alex C. goes, influential as he was he did not have a Top 40 record after the Box Tops' "Soul Deep" in the summer of '69, so I would not expect him to show up for a 70s weekend.
As for Zappa, same thing: Influential as all get out, and he did PRODUCE some 70s hits, but as an artist, no Top 40 record until the 80s ("Valley Girl" with daughter Moon).
A pop oldies station is not going to play tracks that were not pop hits. Heck, there's enough #1 records that never see the light of airplay ("My Ding-a-ling" or "Convoy", anyone?)! That's why there's KCDX...
