Now-FM Trends?

Does anyone have any idea how NOW-FM's trend is gonna look tomorrow based on the weekly reports (if anyone has been able to follow those).
 
I don't know whether it's a harbinger or not, but Now-FM really tanked in the just released Nassau-Suffolk April PPM. The otherwise lowly K-Rock performed significantly better in past months than Now did in April!
 
To be more specific, NOW's share has fallen from the levels where it was as K-Rock, but the cume actually did go up slightly (at least in Nassau-Suffolk). This indicates a very low TSL, which is not uncommon for CHR stations.

On the other hand, NOW did go up in the Middlesex-Somerset-Union numbers (both share and cume).
 
I think we'll just need to wait a week to determine just how abysmally Now-FM is actually performing. :)
 
Well, another trend and the station is still hovering at the 1.5 share, although it's cume did see a nice spike above the 2 million mark.
Impact on Z-100? Minimal. Z-100 actually rebounded one tenth of a share, still good for second place. Cume-wise it's now ranked third behind Lite FM and 103.5 KTU.
Interesting to note that 106.1 BLI Long Island posted its best ratings shares ever in the NYC book with a 1.3 share...almost as much as 92.3 Now FM :D
 
BLI also went to #1 on Long Island for the first time in a while...
don't even remember the last time (if ever) that they bested WALK...
 
How come 97.1 Amp Radio in LA is doing so much better then sister 92.3 Now FM? I would of thought 92.3 would be much higher then they are. Amp needs to help out Now.

Bad DJ's and negative attitude are perfect explanations for lack of traction in the market

Why is AMP doing better than NOW?
Two words. Kevin Weatherly.
 
It really does seem to me that CBS Radio is paying far, far more attention to Amp Radio than to Now. It seems all of their energy is going towards building up Amp to be a strong player in the LA market, with a larger lineup of jocks, a larger playlist, etc. compared to Now.
 
I spend a great deal of time between NY and LA and AMP blows NOW away in it's delivery and playlist.
I was excited when I heard some CHR competition was coming to NY but doesn't seems like CBS has put 10 cents into NOW. Where did they find the on air talent?
NOW seems to be going excusively after suburban New Jersey teenage girls.

If they don't improve I don't see how they could chip away any numbers at Z.
