My sister-in-law posed an interesting question tonight that I could not answer,
does anyone know what will happen to analog NTSC signals on cable systems
Comcast in particular after NTSC is shut off?
Many people (myself included) have a cable ready TV in a kitchen, basement or spare bedroom that is not used enough to justify paying for another Digital or HD cable box. If they shut it down a lot of people will be furious but any
reuse of the frequencies may be problematic.
Anyone you can talk to at Comcast these days have no idea what you are talking about, I have tried to reach the system CE on other occassions and would have better luck getting through to the Pope in Rome.
