Let me point out the numbers in the latest ratings, WNSH's "Nash" is at 2.0 but I guess this is definitely a New York City's version of WRWD and WKXP/WZAD's "The Wolf" with the exception of New York Yankees baseball which is on a country station on FM when it is simulcasting from WCBS-FM's HD2 channel, but according to Beth Christie or CJ where he is saying that "you can hear Yankees baseball loud and clear in FM clarity. I guess they did, but Cumulus owns "The Wolf" in the Hudson Valley area, except in NYC, WNSH's "Nash". I listened to both "The Wolf" and WRWD, but it sounded the same when it is playing on "Nash" at 94.7 right now. And speaking of Yankees on "The Wolf", I wish maybe Cumulus should buy the CBS Radio properties according to the title "WABC Should Sold Back to Disney", but that would be a debate on what is going on with the station and some slight rumors in spite of all that. WCBS-AM is doing well along with the Yankees which is simulcasting on at 94.3 and 97.3 in the HV listening area, the Yankees on "The Wolf" sound a lot like it is heard on CBS-FM's HD2. I hope if the Yankees contact with WCBS-AM should end towards the post-season starts late next month. Maybe either move the Yankees to WOR or maybe it will continue to extend the deal until the next season.
And then, CBS-FM is doing well against WLTW's "Lite-FM" continues to be in the #2 spot, but I'm a long time CBS-FM listener who grew up playing the 50's and 60's oldies music, but I remember last year when CBS-FM did the whole 40th anniversary playing lots of oldies from its pre-1964 and post-1964 songs, but here in the Poughkeepsie, WGNY's "Fox Oldies" play a lot of pre-1964 and post-1964 music, but there is no disco, and no 80's music, but that might be on a FM station at 98.9, the home of Van Ritshie, Bob O, Gene Slater and Joe Manglass. "Fox Oldies" is a great station that brought in some listeners who grew up with the original CBS-FM from the pre-Jack era (1972-2005), the music format on "Fox Oldies" sounded the same then the old CBS-FM. I remember yesterday, around 8:39 AM in the morning while were on their way to White Plains, they played "In the Still of the Nite" by the Five Satins and it became the #1 oldie of all time as part of CBS-FM's "New York Top 500" for a very long time. Back on Memorial Day, they had a the all-new "Top 500" with "Hey Jude" by the Beatles is the new #1 oldie of all-time in the new "Top 500", but I wish CBS-FM should play the version of "In the Still of the Nite" by Boyz II Men. And to get back to the whole "Fox Oldies" thing, I recorded all day of "Fox Oldies" from Van Ritshie all the way to Joe Manglass. These shows I recorded back on the 4th of July while I was on my visit in Florida. The newscast from "ABC News Now" is now gone since I have to cut the newscast to hear national and current events going on. And the rest of the music of "Fox Oldies" is sounded a lot more than what it was used to play on CBS-FM back when Bill Brown, Harry Harrison, Bruce Morrow, Bob Shannon, Dan Daniel, Dan Ingram, Ron Lundy, Bobby Jay, Don K Reed and a bunch of others like Gary Clark, Mark Summers, Max Kinkel, Steve O'Brien, Mike Fitzgerald, Bobby Wayne, and the rest of the CBS-FM crew from the past as well as program directors that we all know like Bill Brown and Joe McCoy. Those were the good old days of CBS-FM, but the music that CBS-FM plays is now on WGNY's "Fox Oldies".
Here are the airchecks that I had posted on the Hudson Valley board.

Later on, I will post these two airchecks from last night on WGNY's "Fox Oldies" where they run jockless from 6:10 PM until 11:00 PM in 2 parts after "Rock, Roll & Remember" hosted by the late Dick Clark. Will have to find out.
