That's true but Cumulus, based out of Atlanta, has alot of country stations and 94.7 serving as an anchor for their national Nash brand in market no. 1 is undoubtedly something to boast about to advertisers and sell on a national level "yet" I have to wonder if Cumulus had chosen a more New York centric format for 94.7 whether it would have made more sense economically notwithstanding the national brand they're trying to develop. Is country really the format they could make the most money with in this market? I assume they think so...

Clearly a 3.0 in the 25-54 demo would be a stretch for WNSH but had they chosen another format for New York it might not have been.

On a less than full signal, country was the best choice.
