All Access is reporting that Opie & Anthony are gone from WZNE. A night jock is gone too.
Does this signal a possible format change for the Zone? Perhaps going after Legends 102.7 ???ThePickleReport said:All Access is reporting that Opie & Anthony are gone from WZNE. A night jock is gone too.
We'll see if the other shoe drops now, that being the Zone dropping Rover. If that happens, WDCX will be the Crawford station getting competition, not WLGZ.

Not that it couldn't be done, but I believe they would have to license the "Froggy" name.

Play Freebird said:Froggy is a country format that assigns amphibian- or swamp-themed names to the airstaff -- for example, Polly Wogg, David Hopperfield, Leapin' Leah, Lilly Pad, Toady, etc. The air studio is usually painted an ugly shade of green to boost morale.
It appears Gordon P. Brown was just way ahead of his time. Not just with his fake names, but also his low paid skeleton staff and no news department or even rip and read news. Not too far from the days of Mike Melody, Jerry Jack, Tommy Thomas, Matt Maguire and Bobby bell.
