Here's an odd twist to the HD-Radio vs. internet radio debate:
"WOXY returns to the airwaves in Cincinnati, as WOXY.com partners with Cincinnati Public Radio to simulcast the station on News/Talk WVXU's HD-2 channel, beginning next month."

WOXY, of course, has been internet-only for several years. I wonder if this could start a trend of select internet stations being simulcasted on HD-2 and 3 channels. It would certainly be a better programming solution to the dreck FM stations are currently broadcasting on their extra HD channels.
Of course, no radios, no audience. It will be a long, long time before WOXY equals the listenership on HD-R that it has on the internet.
