I realize the moderation for this board is being handled by other moderators, due to the extreme situation in Southeast Louisiana.
But...are political/topical discussions now on-topic for this board? I'm talking about various threads about local officials, the federal response to the disaster and comments made by a famous TV/religious figure.
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'd rather see these threads moved to the "Off The Air" board, so this board can be used for a crucial exchange of information and ideas about media in Louisiana, its status, the status of people who work in the radio/TV business in New Orleans and elsewhere in the hard-hit state, and other "on topic" messages.
If this board is buried in threads with the 800th political debate on who did what in the hurricane, those messages will see less readers.
