It is interesting to note from reading this thread that manufacturers of certain products have made the conscious decision to market certain products that they manufacture or distribute in only certain parts or regions of the country. Maybe certain products wouldn't (or didn't) do well in certain regions of the country.
Radio, meanwhile, seems to think that everyone across the country has exactly the same homogeneous tastes, and tries to market the exact same (bland!) product to us, no matter what part of the country we may live in!
