I just heard from a board op down the hall from Howard Stern. Apparently Howard will be leaving XM-Sirrius in June 2009 and return to another FM in NYC!!!

Lee Anderson said:Do you think that he would consider it? Looking at his history, the biggest factor that saw him dump on terrestrial radio was what he saw as over censorship. It would be interesting to see if he could live in the regulated enviroment. I would also think that anyone game enough to sign him on would be looking for a penalty clause in his contract, to cover some sort of legal cost's he would doubtlessly generate.
