Open NYC Area Frequencies

Harold Camping looks like he's dead already, ever see that guy on TV? He sits in a chair and he sounds ancient!! Ch 35 in Philly shows him on a sub-channel and my cable system carries him on a channel in the 200's (WFME-TV).

My friend's daughter started referring to him as "that melting guy" whenever she heard him on the radio. She said "he sounds like he's melting!!"

Under current regs there is no way a commercial frequency could be dropped into NYC. The only possibilities would be to work out a waiver on a 2nd or 3rd addjacent frequency (and possibly a directional antenna) and try to do a move-in. You probably wouldn't be able to achieve a full-market signal, but maybe a decent rimshot. The best possibilities for this would be 93.5 (a class A) and 100.7 (currently a class B).
