It might help to know that Indacom, Inc., and Missouri Indiana Broadcasting, are companies with ties to Mike Rice and his Contemporary Media, Inc. Really, the only non-Rice-linked player to submit anything here (noting that these are 2001 submissions) is Word Power, Inc.

Thats weird, Jim. I wonder what Rice's obesession is with Terre Haute? Seems like he'd just give it up and stay in MO. What are his ties to T.H. that keeps him trying to get back on the air in the market? He never really spent all that much time there (IMO).

Mike and I have actually tussled in the previous incarnation of this board, when he (under a really thin alias) was calling for the FCC to give him his stations back. I don't know what drives him. I only spoke to him a handful of times while I worked there. I did weekends from 90-94, and he liked to come in from MO on the weekends and mess with things in the engineering closet, and he'd wander into the studio while I was on the air and chitchat for a minute or two. I did live through some firings of PDs there (gee, who hasn't in this business) and found him to be kind of an ass when he talked about the fired people.

Sorry, I'm not Jim Stone. I left TH before the Jim Stone era. I heard the station sometimes during then -- wow, it was all over the place musically. I heard Iron Maiden once as I passed through town at 5pm. Not that I don't like Iron Maiden...
