Opie & Anthony Returning To Live 105.3?

You remember O&A - the duo Jagger used to "share" the morning show with for a few months...

Considering Pugs & Kelly are out, and it appears Russ Martin is all but gone pretty soon, too, it's quite possible CBS might add Opie & Anthony back onto the schedule.

Your thoughts?

I tried to listen to them because Kelly made them sound really fun, but I just didn't find anything funny about their show. Just sounded like a couple of loser goombas shootin the breeze 'bout nothin. I just didn't get them at all.
 
I could see them bringing O&A back, temporarily. This would be to fill Russ' slot until they can come up with something better.
 
I concur, I'd rather listen to four hours of fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard than O&A......(wait, do chalkboards still exist?) ???
 
I would rather stab my eyes out with toothpicks and burn my ear drums out with lit matches than listen to O & A again.
 
Tape delay Adam Carolla after Jagger. Is Don and Mike still on? If so them from 2-6. By then Leykis is already in progress. After Leykis, BDH. Then Lovelines live. Now you only have 3 hours of fill time. Good Luck with that.



This only if CBS doesnt dump the format.

Well, since the Edge sucks... Howzabout Jagger Mornings on K-Rock 105.3? BDH can go to KRLD overnights. There is NOBODY that can tell me they actually enjoy The Billy Madison Show. Yikes!
 
I tried really hard to like O&A when they were on. They were occasionally entertaining but usually just annoying. Still, better than Pugs & Kelly. Of course, a microphone passed around a homeless shelter for 3 hours would be better than Pugs & Kelly, so maybe that's not saying much. Come to think of it, however, I think Howard Stern did something like that in the late 80s.

They are NOT getting rid of Russ Martin!!! Hes not going anywhere!!!!

Wishful thinking... Or do you have proof?

There's no way Russ is going to be on Market #5 radio after this. The backlash at KLLI would be massive. KLLI will probably flip to another format.

But they are slowly being replaced with white marker boards.
