Wednesday morning I caught one of my favorite Outer Limits on This TV.... the 1963 KXKVI episode starring Cliff Robertson as an FM station CE. Does anyone
know what site was used for this show? It looks like it was a TV transmitter somewhere in the SW US that had and FM with studios in a building also on the hilltop. The FM console was stereo as you could see the stereo action on the VU meters. Tower was a self supporter with what looked like a pole mount or slot antenna at the top identical to the old WLLH-FM tower in Andover, Mass. I remember another in Louisville with many more across the country. The call letters on the building were covered up. There were very quick shots of what may have possibly been a Raytheon transmitter but it went by too fast, when the episode airs again I will DVR it.
