P-G Reports CBS Staff Cuts, Including Ryan Mill

I have that sweeper on a reel somewhere. It was also used at the original 96KX/Denver, which was very similar.

cheers,

3-letter radio: KHB!

I've always dreamed of working in Pittsburgh but with all the corp. stations making budget cuts, it seems like that may never happen. I didn't know Ryan Mill personally but we did have one phone conversation in which we didn't see eye to eye on a couple of business related issues. But I do wish him the best of luck in finding a new gig.

Hey Nick, maybe some day you'll be up here. Probably good you didn't get the "B" job....they're not doing so well in the ratings. Will listen for you when we visit relatives in Nitro the weekend of Thanksgiving.

Thanks guys. In college, my Communications Professor always had a motto that I've kinda used a my drive in Radio. "Passion, live the dream!" So I completely agree!

SteelRocker, let me know when you're going to be here and maybe I could give you a tour of the studios.

I agree with other speculation that Keith clark will program the B. He apparently has a CHR/urban programming background.

You're not the only one. And with WBZW's ratings being not that spectacular, they might want to consider going that route if they're going to beat WKST.

I remember Dennis Waters from 13Q and Dennis Elliot from WPEZ.

If Dennis E. worked at 1320, could it have been later in the AC years between CHR 13Q and Music of Your Life WJAS?
Elliott worked at 1320 from February through late summer-probably into fall-of 1975. Ironically, when he went to 94.5 he replaced Buzz Brindle when the latter moved to the Q in March of '76.

Learned a lot from Dennis and Ryan..radio pro's..a shame their a dying breed
