P&K Boneless....?

I am hearing lots of chatter that is NOT confirmed but word is that P&K are no longer on the bone. Adding fuel to the fire they are not on the bones site anymore. Anyone else hearing this....?
 
It's TRUE!

They are nowhere to be found on The Bone's web page.

I'm guessing they fell victim to Cumulus' newly-sharpened budget ax.

The PD of KSAN in San Francisco (also known as The Bone) was just fired, too.

Cumulus' large & major market rock stations are a clusterf***. KSAN was the one station doing halfway decently. Rock 100.5 in Atlanta, WRQQ in Nashville, and especially 93-3 The Bone are ratings nigthmares. Their Atlanta station -- despite having the once highly-touted "Regular Guys" in morning drive -- got the crap beaten out of them by Clear Channel's Active Rocker, Project 9-6-1.
 
Like I said this has NOT BEEN CONFIRMED yet. If it is true how hard do you think Gavin is laughing? Pugs basiclly pitched a fit and left a good station for the bone and now possibly may already be off the air. Can you say RON & DON Pugs!

Jesus! Why on earth would anyone want to work in radio these days! What a shady business it's become the last few years.
 
Though their show really had it's weaknesses, I feel bad for them. This might be difficult for them to recover from. Being out of work in radio right now is a tough place to be in.

You are right! Cumulus should be ashamed of themselves for bringing them in and then blowing them out. This only shows how incompetent MANAGEMENT is.
 
Hate to say I told ya so...P&K are hopefully done in this market and go away for good....
 
Corporate may well be heartless but P&K were never that good.

Methinks they helped bring it on themselves.
 
I think its funny how people blame station management. Sadly the only blame is on P&K themselves. If a show is bad then its bad. Once again this is only quiet chatter and nothing has been confirmed. I agree they are finished in this market.
 
:D At least one of the photo's on the new website has a 105.3 banner in the background. Sheesh.
 
The BIG Question here is, look what Bob Lavell will have to do now with his new commercials.
He will have to remove the Pugs and Kelly spots. Bless their hearts!!!!!

Somehow, I feel a lwasuit brewing. Kelly just can't let go of the money. Pugs will have to go on the ride.

I seem to recall a message from Pugs about both not wanting to venture out of DFW because of family roots and that SATELLITE radio would have meant moving.

Does anyone have any positive proof that they were offered a Sirius/XM job?

I agree 100% that post above was totally classless! If you want to bash a radio show that's your right, but you shouldn't take shots at a couple about a miscarriage! That sir is repulsive. Pugs and Kelly are nice enough people off the air. They don't deserve to come in here and read that garbage! Especially if that it is true and they are out of work now
