To make everyone happy b 1079 should play music from the late 50's to the early 80's.

We play everything from the 50s to the 80s. Gee, that would make them like the new TED-FM, just no 90's or Now.

Just a thought...

Just to clarify...

If you check the Arbystron that we are not allowed to quote here, you will find that WODB's best ratings performance during its oldies/classic top-40 era occurred in Spring of 2003, after Saga took over but before corporate started meddling in the music programming. Can't quote you the shares due to Radio-Info rules, but it never performed better at any time in Stop 26's reign, and has never performed as well since. During that time, WODB programmed a small amount of pre-Beatles and late 50s titles, a large number of 64-72 titles, and a significant amount of songs from 73-79. "Variety hits" for 35-64. After this time, corporate insisted that all music pre-64 and post-72 be removed. The WODB list remained that way until just before the wholesale change to B-1079.
