PC ratings out tommorrow!

I had a chance to work indirectly with Don McCoy when he recorded some spots. Very professional but, very prepared to record his spot but also had a huge ego. Not a very patient man and seemed that if I wasn't helping him record his spot he wouldn't give me the time of day. I only encountered him a handful of times, each to lay down his voice for spots. As I said, professional and prepared but also better than I or anyone else that isn't in his income bracket.

you are so off base with wkmx in dothan, they are down 12+, up number 1 women 18-34, and they have a solid numbers feen in there afternoons "number 1 with the women", trends are showing him gaining mega cume,and wkmx fliped all there listeners in feb, expected to take a hit,in fact as i sit here and read on there nite guy was the only flop of wkmx, as for island they were falling before "kim" departed look at the books for fall 05',

In PCB, I'm not 100% sure I would say that the one book Island was #1 12+ was because of Kim. Or Tom. Or Keith. Or anyone else at Styles/Magic. That book where Island was #1 12+ was more than likely a fluke. They got kissed by Arbitron. Since the intab of PCB is so low, look at a couple of different books and you'll see that Island is back to where it ought to be. I'm not saying it's a bad station, or that anyone there is to blame. But let's not compliment anyone for what was obviously a fluke book. And vise/versa, no one should really be to blame for this book either.

Now I'm not sure why we're all discussing Dothan here in the north Florida boards, but allow me to chime in.

Mr. (Mrs.?) Poopie...I'm not sure what book you're looking at for Dothan and WKMX, but I'm looking at PD Advantage right now. Remember that this was an averaged book for Dothan...But either way (average or this most recent book only) WKMX is down 12+, down 18-34, down 25-54, even down in the tiny 18-24 demo!...Down in EVERY demo and daypart I can bring up.

Now LAST book as the old WKMX, I do see a couple of demos WKMX was #1 in...18-34 being one of them...as well as 18-24. They were #2 25-54 previous book.

From everything I am seeing, this is the absolute worst book WKMX has had in it's 31 year history. If you'd like to explain to me how and where you are seeing a #1 from WKMX this book, please either post here, or e-mail me off list. My address is in profile. But I'm just not seeing it this book. Obviously we can't post numbers here, but I think we can give ranks (MODERATOR: Is that correct?)

trends!!! so quick to to jump, key word in the whole thing was TRENDS this is true! and you are right about the rest.. if thats what i was talking about. it wasn't! check cume in "your trends" that you have, if i could post it i would .so just check everything, look under the carpet..hows the sencond floor in p.c?

Trends??? Uh, there are no Arbitrends in the Dothan market. Don't know who told you there were.

I'll leave it with WKMX had a bad book...Styles PCB had a bad book...Actually, all Styles stations in the US had a bad book except WTVY. Those with copies of the book or Arbitron software can see the truth for themselves.

A station owner (who just happens to be a dumba--) did tell me a good quote once...The truth with eventually come out and set you free.

I'm going to move any further discussion of this where it belongs...Alabama.

both of you are crazy..but poopie is right ,there is trends!!! sorry if you dont get them pay for them and you might, but!!! not the same type of trnds as in the top.lets say 50, .. so wise up, kmx is up in said demos.. so joe..err download... why argue you know the truth!! let it set you free, i can read and when numbers in demo and cume and tsl are up!!! it is up!!!! get a clue, read beyond the 12+
