Don't you mean John Records Landecker? The old WLS jock? What a great addition he would be to this market.

The company that owns 107.9 needs to seriously clean up the station's muddy signal. After they've done that, aim high and put together a staff of Larry Lujack, Tommy Edwards, John Records Landecker and the former afternoon drive WLS jock who went to WLS-TV - I can't remember his name now. Then WKLU would really be that Brownsburg radio station and 107.9 would be an incredibly classic oldies station with personality and music, the way we remember it.

Wasn't Fred Winston filling in during afternoon drive on WIBC not long ago? He's one of the old WLS gang, and still sounding good last I heard....

107.9 should try rap and hip hop.
