Peachtree TV

As I understand it, when they switched from a mostly steak menu to adding a lot more comfort food, it made a big difference.

I just called DirecTV because I'm still getting the message about calling ext 721 to order. I was told that yes, they are aware of the change and TBS both the analog and HD feeds should be available in the Atlanta market later today on channel 247 if you subscribe to one of the packages that includes this channel.

1. DirectTV (and all Atlanta cable companies) will air national TBS starting October 1st (I think Channel 76 on Comcast since Spike TV moved to 78 suddenly...but I'm not certain).

2. Peachtree TV will have no news initally. They would be smart ot partner with WSB-TV for a 10 PM news to comepete with WAGA and WXIA/WATL. They may continue to carry the 6 AM half-hour simulcast of Headline News.

3. Time Warner is doing this to prep Channel 17 for sale...period. Don't let their denials fool you.

4. When will Ted Turner make a public comment about all of this? I am dying to hear what he has to say about the death of his creation that mad him who he is today.
