PHILADELPHIA EAGLES now on WSOX-FM 96.1

Well the NFL got it right back then. A couple of generations have grown up as Steelers fans. I'd be upset too if the team I've followed for years all of a sudden wasn't available to me. The NFL should have followed market history.

I am a long time Eagles fan but have loads of respect for what the Steelers have accomplished over the years. All those Super Bowls, and some at the expense of the Cowboys :). What Philly fan can't love that?

Kudos to Channel 8 for standing their ground. 21 should do the same.

Seltzer - hey an Eagles fan I have a lot of respect for. :) I don't know for sure but I believe Channel 21 will possibly put the Steeler games on Ch.15. The game this past week was a must carry for FOX 43 and was still carried on 15.

Out in Pittsburgh where I lived, of course I never had to worry about not seeing any of their games, because the only way it would be blacked out is if it wasn't a sold out game. However, towns to the north along I-79 and the Ohio border had to watch the Browns, because of the market rule. It got worse in Erie, PA - because they had to preempt Browns and Steelers because of the Buffalo Bills being the nearest team.

Yeah I can see where it would be a problem for Erie. Browns, Bills....how awful.

Thanks for the tip on 15. Didn't realize CBS and the NFL had made that arrangement. Good for the Steelers faithful.
