The widely spread article about his ratings tanking was specific to the New York City market. BTW it's ice tea, not lemonade.

Holy Crap! I'm wrong again. KYOT played Zapp - More Bounce! Also in today's log: Janet - Nasty, Prince - Raspberry Beret, Pretty Poison - Catch Me I'm Falling, and Rick James - Superfreak! It's just a matter of time before they grab all of the other Old School listeners.

Yes I'm a bit confused to hear Nat King Cole and Debbie Deb in the same hour. Or how about Mark Morrison "Return of the Mack" followed by "Just the 2 of Us." I can't see their heritage listeners sitting through songs like Next "Too Close" so why try to keep them?

Somebody my age would probably score Mark Morrison and Grover Washington Jr. highly in a test... I really like both songs. However, it's a brutal segue.

Think of it as a Variety Hits station. Except it's rhytmic/urban instead of rock based.

Well Mega does the same type of programming, so its nothing new to me. However I thought being consistant would be better competition.
