Plus, why are we letting the Brits take over our American airwaves? Nothing against them - and I certainly understand globalization - but it's kind of disappointing that an American wasn't selected for the gig. A Brit was also the face of the most popular show on TV for years (a little singing competition), and now people are already saying that show won't last with a panel of American judges. Pretty sad for our country if you ask me.

This is a long-shot, but it wouldn't surprise me if CNN approached Katie Couric in the near future and offered her Larry King's old slot after Piers Morgan is tossed aside.
