Gresh, you're a good guy from what I hear, but don't be so naive. Don't bury your head in the sand like so many people in this business and be surprised when you're asked to leave the building. Use this time to get prepared.

Hopefully you're right, but I doubt you are. Your station may survive, but will you and your colleagues? I'd start looking towards the future. Everyone on the Trail needs an updated demo or a plan B. Your company's stock went from $10 to $1 in less than a year. Citadel has amassed more debt than it can handle. Major markets are being hit hard. Veteran talent billing ten times their salaries are being let go. If this isn't an indication that changes are coming to Citadel Providence, I don't know what is. Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.

Yeah... looks like Gresh got caught. He's busy trying to tell us his job his safe because Citadel won't touch the score. But in the meantime I am pretty sure he just violated a Providence Citadel Policy that says Citadel employees arn't allowed to post on this board. hahahaha. That is priceless!!! I'm pretty sure he just helped shove himself out the door before Farid can even get to him.

You may be right Holland… then again look how long CC stock holders have put up with stagnant stock prices.

I just don’t see how anything the company has done in the past few weeks (the cuts) is going to create top line growth. It seems they merely applied a tourniquet.

Wow! I thought I had a bitter streak but you guys win! With all this speculation, this crew ought to be into day trading and making the big $$$ instead on demonizing the entire broadcast industry. Truly, I have too much time on my hands.

I'm not saying it is or it isn't but with so many heavyweights around the country being cut you'd have to be a knucklehead yourself to assume anyone is safe. And since your profile shows your email to be [email protected] I guess that rules you out as being Farid himself assuring the world that the stations with no numbers will be the only ones not to be touched.

i'm still going to go with the senerio that a guy i thought was a bit of a buffon to begin with would leave his email address in his bio. He not only did this after calling all the other posters on this site "idiots", but he thought he was secretly getting away with promoting himself in his past posts. Again, please please please tell me thats what happened.

HAD you bought Citadel stock at $1 as I did a-week-ago-Friday, then sold @ $1.40 days later, you sure would've covered your $10 online commissions.

I, personally, have not sold yet.
I've been chasing-it-down since $2.5, so I figure I'm "improving my basis..."
