(Compared to the rest of the U.S.) doesn't Seattle already have enough dance stations?
I'd say the area between Hightstown to Hamilton, NJ has the most dance stations. 87.7, 88.9, and the 92.9 pirate in Trenton that's on occasionally.KDM 7000 said:(Compared to the rest of the U.S.) doesn't Seattle already have enough dance stations?
Party 92.9 was my pirate dance station from 2004-2006 that only had one watt and was only heard in a 1.5 mile radius, broadcasting from West Windsor, NJ. I lost interest in pirate radio and constantly fixing my transmitter (that I built myself out of off-the-shelf stuff I got at Wal Mart).Mid West Clubber said:party 92.9 is still on????????? ???
Yeah, I didn't broadcast it 24/7. I was a kid playing radio lol, kind of like that 14 year old in Canada.Mid West Clubber said:you had a website and stream on myspace, and I added you as a friend, you had a little windows media link. I actually enjoyed your station, but your stream was really off and on alot, and i know about some punks that sabotaoged your tx too.... If your a dance pirate I will find you,,, and I warn you,,, i will listen,,, but no worries,, Im not the fcc.. I enjoy pirate radio as long as its not causing interference or using thousands of watts with overmodulated audio with profanity and nasty carribean and urban music. No Worries i dont report pirates cause I what goes around comes around.. If your near me and broadcasting nasty untruths about me, and trying to drown me out, however, ive been know to cut feed lines and stick thumb tacks in the feed lines. But if your not my ex g/F and her B/F no worries.....dance pirates rule.... I love the ones in minnesota.
92.9 is usually on nights and weekends. It's really not too special now, sounds like an iPod on shuffle. It's even played the same song twice in a row. It comes in on 195 in the Hamilton area and can be heard several miles into Pennsylvania.d21ofnj said:I remember hearing the dance pirate on 95.3, but still trying to listen to the 92.9 one since I'm not that far to drive on 138/I-195. About a couple years ago, someone actually pirated my stream and put it on the airwaves.
I just ran it on 96.7 before the translator would be active. I had it on from May 2003 until WQXR started simulcasting which was a month later. However, someone in 07 did hijack the translator for the day and heard my stream on 96.7.Nick said:92.9 is usually on nights and weekends. Did you ever hijack the translator on 96.7 with your station, or run a pirate on 96.7?
