I don't mean to interrupt the conversation. Anyone know the program directors name?? If I were to want a part time gig, who would I send the resume/tape? ???

The P/D's name is Vic Thomas

Matthew Wilder-"Break My Stride". You go Platinum 96.7. That was the jam back in the day!!!

Not a Ticket listener. Just had the 45 back in the day.

I am not crazy about this station at all. It stinks so far in my opinion.

LORD I MISS THE OASIS !!

So is KZPS back to Classic Rock only? I am not a country fan, even Texas country, at all.

Jay,

Have you checked out the Sunday Jazz Brunch on 103.7? Tempie does an excellent job and the music is perfect for a Sunday morning! 8)

I only get to listen to it to/from church.

But she does a wonderful job, as usual.

They (KVIL) should just have Smooth Jazz Sundays.

Platinum Is Really Starting to get in a Good Grove.
They are playing All the Same Songs and Adding
New ones to make it sound less soft.
Its Becoming a real nice oldies station.

I'm starting to miss This Town Needs a bar - Twister... come back! ;D

That made me laugh out loud. The comment and who its from.

I heard Bread - Everything I Own, just as much as - This Town Needs a Bar - over the weekend - I must have hit every alternate daypart they put that song in.

It's not much different than WDUV 105.5 Tampa, which, thanks to an enormous retirement community, crushes all other stations in the 12+ ratings. But, the audience is almost all over 50...revenue-wise, it is not even in the top 10 there despite the fact in the last trends WDUV beat the #2 station in the market almost 2-1 in 12+ (again more evidence the 12+ numbers don't translate to revenue). It also is on a full-market signal. So, how competitive is KPMZ going to be on a non-full-market signal covering an area without a huge density of 50+ retirees?

WDUV in Tampa - their morning guys name is Dick Ring.

I thought people needed to know.

Leaving now.....

Dick Ring in the mornings! All right! That should raise listeners awareness!

Dick Ring in The MORNINGS. OH YEA!!!
On 105.5 The DOVE!!!!!!!!! WDUV!!!
Yea DICK RING!!!!!

Sorry Had to rip that from an earlier post I saw
