PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A STUNT: "Texas Twister"?

There are no true adult standards stations in the DFW market. That's not an opinion, it's a statement of fact. How can any sane person believe that by 96.7 going country again will be any better than it was the last time?
And you can split hairs all you want and come up with these artificial labels. Country is country is country. As rock is rock is rock. As talk is talk is talk. Young country, new country, classic country, americana - it's all the same gobbledy-guck.
Well if standards is older music, and KLUV is older music, how can you say there's not a standards station in this market? You can come up with these artifical labels, but isn't it all the same gobbledy-guck?

And ohhhh so sorry if my charecterization of your repeated complaints that there's no standards station as whining offended you. But to me, complaints (or statements of fact if you will) that we don't have this type of station or that type of station ignores a factthat Jack Bishop pointed out a few days ago. We have an open market. Find investors, convince an owner to put your format on teh air. Buy time a la 1360. There's a way to do get your station on teh air, it just requires effort and guts. We don't have a goverment telling us what we can and can't put on the air. Take advantage of that...

In a recent survey, woodpecker noises were preferred 3-to-1 over Mark Levin's voice.

This "Reagan 96.7" format is AMAZING!! Someone actually found a speech containing a weak moment in the Reagan presidency where he was showing some concern about the national debt!!

Hour #3: Still all-Reagan speeches. Maybe this is all part of a "Dark Days of the 80s" flashback? What's next, Delta 191 coverage? The cancellation of "Alf"?

No, I think Reagan is probably the favorite Republican of all time for Mark Davis, Rush and Hannity. I see this as the precursor to kicking off News/Talk 96.7 - WBAP FM.

Now a void in the market....although a scratchy signal in the sw part of dfw...so those with savvy, and good credentials...here's a format to pitch to some of the 70 signals in the dfw area....

I've been glued to the Reagan Radio format all afternoon. Great idea for a stunt.
Maybe an all political speeches format is in store. It would be unique.

...(lol)..I can't believe I'm saying this, but yesterday I listened to Ronnie all the way home!! It was hypnotic!
