Please Tell Me This Is an April Fool's Joke....

I heard another promo to listen to the big announcement on Hot monday morning. It sounded like the same V/O from AMP in LA. Just putting that out. Hmmm...

You are doing exactly what they want. Get everybody to talk about what is happening on Hot. Oh, I'm sure there will be some kind of announcement; but it won't be a format change. You are making a big deal out of nothing. My opinion is subjective.

They surely did spend quite a bit of hours / days making statements, playing the best of the dance hits, and saying their goodbyes when we lost our dance station here in Phoenix. All the way up to the last song, they talked about it, and flashed back the hottest dance (mostly house, electro-pop, and some breaks) they played since their debut in 2003. Energy 92.7/101.1 KNRJ changed on October 31 and became classic hip hop. I'm glad they did it this way instead of one day hearing dance, then the next week BAM! classic hip hop hits. I remember the guy on the air called his mom live to tell her he's going back to New York and moving back in because he was going to be unemployed (A little odd because there are dance formats in N.Y.). Then he talked about the economy a bit and let callers call in to voice their opinions...etc.

Eventually, people are going to start jumping on the classic hip hop, as hip hop continues to fall to make room for the next trend in music to top the charts.... everyone seems to want to be electro-pop and dance styled now... HOW IRONIC. I could very easily continue with this, but... no, not at this time, or even less, this section.
