Pollard and Sommers under the same roof

Yes, I work for Amie Pollard now. Da'-vid Sommers. I've heard her say it just like that. Six months at the most! Anybody else want to join the pool to see how long Da'-vid and Goober can stand each other? Da'-vid is a nice guy, but he has lost his ever-loving, pea-picking brain to think he's gonna be able to stand even one smackdown from Ms. Music Promoter/Manager/A&R/Talent scout herself. TNM, you think you felt a little vomit rise up in your throat already, wait til you get called to the Queen's office and you have to look her in the face and say Yes Ma'mam. I will go against all my training and experience and do as you say. Please, somebody in that building film it for us and put it on YouTube.

If somebody is a proven winner, why in the world would anybody have a problem working with them? They want to win, right?

9 months is June, that is a bet that you'll probably win. I'm not worried about DS though, he can certainly take care of himself, seen it personally! Hopefully the beatdown will go the other way and she'll learn how to "play and get along with others".

WTVY is gonna be so strong now with this lineup. Gonna be like shooting fish in a barrel for them.
 
I agree the WTVY lineup will be alot stronger but there may be some bumping of egos at some point. Anyway not my problem just having fun ;D Oh yeah the 9 months...just playing the odds!
 
After careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that the
word "amnesia" has to be somewhere in the explanation for the current events.
Put me down for 12 months.
 
"This could be the worst mistake I ever made." That inauspicious quote from Da-vid starts his career at the home of the Goober. This was all after Wild Bill Bailey Camarata goofed on his drum roll sfx. More unintentional cussing too, when they couldn't find the right cut to play. Sad and Tragic. Sorry, no refunds.
 
I was just looking at the GOOBER 95.5 website site :-\ And I have too compliment the webmaster master for being so up-to-date. I had no idea that Russ Ragan, Fred Baucher & Dave Gilligan were still on GOOBER 95??? Or that David Sommers had never even been hired, also according to the ON AIR NOW section Big Mike KC was still on the air today. The GOOBER site is the Internet @ it's finest ;)

Very perplexing skit,intro,whatever. A mulligan would be helpful here.

Go right ahead headland, the more, the merrier. As long as you know we're talking about the hated character, Goober, who ruined the Andy Griffith show, not the nut, which I love. Heard more of the weirest, obviously "put-up" calls to welome Dave to WTVY. I especially liked the one where Dave told her, "Remember now, my name is Randall." "Randall!", she said. "They told me your name was Da-vid". Goober Pollard should rehearse her fake callers better.
 
Did anyone else catch the seeming sarcasm in David's voice as he kept mentioning the beautiful facilities where he worked? 8)
 
I just love a non-defensive reply! Class, well I now have an idea of your definition of it and to put to rest that I AM NOT BIG STEW, I only met him once and that was briefly! Stewy, Family Guy fame, smart arse, known for getting along to a point but not blindly following garbage. Mr. Bill you have absolutely no idea just how nice I've been. BTW, do you have a dog named Spot?

I think you all need to put on your big girl panties and your big boy undies and get on with another topic! Do you all not get it!!! Amie and her gang are # 1!! She undoubtedly is doing something right--get a life, get busy, and try to beat her out of that # 1 slot! David and any other person who cares to join the 95.5 team are making a wise decision! By the way gang, great job on the St. Jude Radio-A-Thon! Thanks for letting me be a part of it--
 
My Mom always told me if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all...I didn't listen! I'm going to try to say this as nice and professional as I can.

People have 2 sides to them--Personal and Professional. Outside of the office some people are great frienda, you always want to be around them, but you don't know them professionaly. These same people can be very mean, 2-faced, stab you in your back when you leave the room, accuse you of untrue things, use you to make themselves look good, they are always right and you are always wrong!

When you know someone persoanally and not professionally, you are shocked to learn what a nightmare that person is to work with. You also got to remember that the people who work with these people don't hang out with them for a reason.

Ursula G- you are showing you are a true AMIEITE- she says it so its true. Sadly TVY is no longer #1 except in the mids of those who work there. We have all seen the Amie and David sage before...nothing has changed, we know how it will end!

OMGLOL- Amie is loving every minute of this...she eats it up knowing she is being talked about. Not one person say she was "so insignificant" execpt for you! People are just expressing their opions which happens to different from yours.
