Hello Radio Broadcasters
I'm sure you have read this past week of Pauline Robbin's battle with breast cancer. In the Upper Valley, there isn't one radio person who didn't know Pauline.
I am honored to announce that the entire radio community in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont will be jointly pulling our resources together to raise $$ for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchock Medical Center in Pauline's name. We have named this radio broadcast Polly's Think Pink Radio-Thon
All radio companies have placed down the corporate flag for this one day. Thursday 6a-7p. Koor Communications, Nassau Broadcasting, Dartmouth Broadcasting and Great Eastern Radio will all be working together. Same broadcast, all frequencies, all jocks on hand.
Also I'm excited to announce that Nassau Broadcasting - Lakes Region has also joined the cause and will be broadcasting this radio-thon, giving the cause coverage thru the center of New Hampshire.
I wanted to extend this cause & radio broadcast to you. If your radio station, college or commercial, would like to be apart of this one day (hopefully statewide) event, please email me asap [email protected] (I will explain the technical side of things personally to you.) I would love to see the entire state to stand together and use our powers for the good & fundraise for Breast Cancer. Each radio cluster will have avails for local spots.
Though I'm the point person on this campaign, it could not happen without the help of people like Heath Cole, Doug Welldone, Michelle Stevens, Wally Caswell, Bob Vinikoor, and people like you who care and would like to join in the cause. Hands down, every company in the UV has whole heartedly placed this radio-thon as #1 on priory list. No one blinked, everyone was 100% onboard from the get-go.
Please forward this page to anyone you know in the radio community that may also want to help this great cause. Thank you for your time.
Steve Smith
