And of course that has nothing to do with Entercom, but does have to do with MLB's deal: "ESPN Radio holds the exclusive radio rights to the series" so sadly that's why only WEEI-FM here will get Joe, Dave, and Lou. The same will apply to Cardinals radio and it would have applied to Tigers and/or Dodgers radio had they gotten into the series. It's been like this for several years now so blame ESPN and MLB for this provision of the deal.
NESN's broadcasters won't be able to call it either; you'll get Buck, McCarver etc from Fox. Just imagine: "Well, I don't like Buck and McCarver so I'll tune to NESN and hear their call of it." Nope. Fox only gets the TV broadcast.
Now, if you live within 93.7's signal you can put your TV on and turn down the volume and have your stereo play Red Sox radio. (And
you'll get to hear the call of a home run seconds before it shows up on TV).
For those who want the Red Sox network team if you happen to be outside that area:
--it's possible the local broadcasts will be heard on XM. They have been during the playoffs; not sure if it applies to World
Series as well. If you subscribe you can get it on your smartphone with an app, or on your computer for an extra fee
--tunein.com might be able to get you WEEI's call, but not sure; they do carry ESPN's call...
It's possible WEEI-FM's signal may reach a very small part of the Maine seacoast, or at least it seemed to come in
as I drove back from Portland one time... (OK it won't reach Portland but some of it may reach the area just outside
the NH seacoast)

(As article says, "And since the station’s signal is fairly powerful, some listeners in southern York County may be able to hear it." N. Yarmouth is further up though.)
The Phillies won it in 2008 IIRC, and Harry Kalas got to call it. I thought it was said in '80, when they won, they didn't even
allow a local radio broadcast, not even on the flagship but that changed. Kalas passed on just before he was about to call
a game early the next year, but got to do the '08 WS win...on the flagship
Note also:
>>He said his station will still air WEEI’s pregame show during the World Series, but will switch to ESPN Radio coverage when the game starts. But when (not if, when) the Sox win the World Series, most Mainers won’t be able to hear Castiglione and O’Brien describing the moment. At least not live.
