I was out in the Inland Empire recently and managed to tune into KCAA and The Poorman's show.
The Poorman really, really needs to let his issues with Dr. Drew and Loveline go. The whole hour it was him ranting and raving how he discovered Dr. Drew, and him and Dr. Drew did drugs, and how Dr. Drew and the powers that be at KROQ hijacked his creation, Loveline, from him.
Apparently on Thursday he is going to reveal some big secret about Dr. Drew.
If what he is saying is true that Dr. Drew and the powers that be stole his idea of Loveline, I can understand being upset, but it has been a long time, and frankly the truth, more times than not, is in the middle.
The following hour he was yelling into the microphone how he has no callers and no sponsors, then when there was a caller he talked over the person going on about the same thing.
This is not even IE quality radio, nor simply quality radio.
Of course it is fitting Poorman would be on a station like KCAA, which, aside from difficulty being able to be picked up within the IE due to the ground conductivity, the programming is in real disarray. Lots of brokered programming and sudden moments filled with dead air.
From what I have been able to gather it is some company in Texas that owns this station and I do not know what their purpose is in owning this station as it rarely, if ever, registers on the IE ratings.
I am kind of curious, anybody know the story behind this station?
