Post your latest DX

It seems as though WFCN-1200 Nashville (Moody Radio) is still on late, either critical hours or day power. Go get 'em!
Edinburgh IN SDR has them on top with Focus on the Family.

EDIT - Whoa - XEW-900 Mexico City is S9+5 on the KA7U receiver in Weiser ID!! KDUS 1060 Tempe AZ also in with sports and local ads, plus an UNID with classic Regional Mexican music that doesn't seem to match KDYL UT, KTNS CA, or the two XEs. Hmm...
750 KAMA El Paso TX HUGE signal, day power? ID and jingle

This is definitely auroral - 780 KAZM AZ way over KKOH with local ads and news. 760 SS under KGB maybe XEABC.
KGME-910 AZ IDed, but 920 is KKLS Rapid City?!! It just IDed too, mentioning 104.7.

Weiser ID continued...

1440 KFOO Riverside CA all alone with Black Information Network
1000 likely XEOY mixed with a very weak KNWN and 1-2 others - this is VERY unusual
1420 XEXX Tijuana BCN very strong, IDs PSN Radio
1390 KENN Farmington NM 'Northwest New Mexico's talk radio'
1380 KLPZ Parker AZ at times S9+10! Country music
1290 CBS Sports - this HAS to be KCUB Tucson. Also SS, and likely KAZA Gilroy mixed
560 KLZ Denver 'Crawford Broadcasting'
1410 Religious teaching likely KERI Bakersfield

@crainbebo I've heard XEW here ONCE

If you miss the weak W RAdio ID at the beginning, fast forward to 30 seconds when it gets ABUNDANTLY CLEAR...i knew this wasnt KZPA cuse KSKO wasnt running pop music lol..

I've been doing some DXing this evening, and came across a silent carrier at 780 AM. It seems to be due north or south of here.

Anyone know what's going on?

Caught WFCN last night here in Loganville, GA. Sounded like a local from 239 miles away and with some pretty rough thunderstorms in my area. Thanks @crainbebo for the heads up.
I had something coming through my local Spanish-speaking WRTO Chicago, usually buried, sometimes equal in strength, but it wasn't up long enough to tell if it was WOAI (a nighttime regular before 1200 became crowded) or WFCN. Maybe the switch won't be flipped tonight either.

This afternoon (4:45) brought in a pedestrian but curious 'It's about time' catch, atop 1230. It IDed as 'WMID', which means that they and WCMC Wildwood NJ are a simulcast. As 'WCMC', they were among the last remaining 100-watt AM stations (iIrc, into the Sixties).
I taped an ID, YL voicer, though, which mentioned '99.3' in a flurry of info. It wasn'T the TOH ID, though. Confusing. 99.3 WZBZ is a full-power class A, and they finished 6th in the market Spring '22.
I put it in the logbook as 'WMID', in quotes.
Barefoot GE SRII with new batteries.

Weiser ID tonight

830 XEITE Mexico City DF mostly alone with Spanish Christian programming // stream (a shocker!!) 900-XEW is in but not as strong.
Also 1410 KIIX Fort Collins CO w/ Ronnie Milsap song // stream, in and out with CFTE Vancouver BC

WFCN is there again tonight on the Edinburgh, Ind., SCR, mixing with WOAI. Still trying to pull it out here in the Chicago suburbs.

With the AM dial 'crystalline' in the newer, noise-free den the past few overnights off the GE SR2 barefoot (both me and the radio) : two new catches here.
WSVS 800 Crewe VA was pretty L & C even with CKLW on. 1:00am. VNN news and a '97.1' thrown in. WSVS is listed as 270 watts at night ; sure didn't sound 270-ish. They used to be quite a SSS regular back in Queens NYC ; first time heard here.

870 the Wobbler, with a curiously faint WWL mixing. The Wobbler sounded like someone playing a long handsaw using a small mallet (some of it even sounded melodic for a few riffs). I looked through about a dozen post-topics on this site, but couldn't find mention of it being identified.

Unn's WTRU 830 NC and WYLL Chicago were re-logs and taped for entertainment and possible time-capsule purposes only.

Night time cheater on 700 wiped out WLW in Indianapolis. Suspect CJLI in Calgary.
WLW is like a "local" at night. No fading.
Interfering station discussed how to apply for a Visa to visit the U.S. had French language content.
Was gonna call the FCC todasy, but don't know if Canada in abrogating the AM radio treaty with the U.S.
Normally if I get anything other than WLW on 700, I get KHSE in Wylie, TX which has foreign language programming (not French that I know of). KHSE is a frequent cheater, and has been heard in Central Indiana. If it is the Calgary station, I doubt the CRTC/Industry Canada would take any action.

The wobbler has been determined to be a very out-of-whack second Reloj transmitter.

There are 3 Reloj repeater on 870, two with 10kw and one 1kw station. (Per WRTH 2022)

Last night at 9:34 p.m. CT, I heard a weak TGVE in Ciudad de Guatemala under XERF on 1570. The station was playing "Quiero Mirar to Gloria" by Alvara Garavito, which was followed by Spanish-language preaching, all matching TGVE's webstream.

KRAE-1480 Cheyenne WY into the Stevensville MT (W0AY) SDR tonight with oldies // stream. Listed 73 watts night! Also have KKTS-1580 WY and KFCS-1580 CO mixing together.

EDIT - KOTA-1380 Rapid City on top with Ramsey Show and KLPZ-1380 Parker AZ // stream underneath; 1300 KCSF Colorado Springs with Denver Nuggets PBP, TOH ID from 1230 KBAR Burley ID

Just heard in my car in the southwest suburbs of Chicago: 870 WPWT Colonial Heights, Tenn., 10 kW sunset skip at 4:13 p.m. The daytimer uses a "96.3 The Possum" slogan between country songs. Strong for a few minutes.

And one more on 870 at 5 p.m. CT: KPRM Park Rapids, Minn., on 50 kW day power just before the switchover to night power. End of Sean Hannity, ID including translators and into USA News.

Both new!

I heard a station Monday January 10 on 1470 that mentioned Area Code 701 in a Spot around 5:00 to 5:30 PM EST. I assume it was KHND Harvey, ND. They also mentioned Ada, but neither Ada, MN or Ada, ND is that close. Could have been a state news story. The 1470 in Brooklyn Park, MN, KMNQ is DA and doesn't radiate much toward my location near Pellston, MI, and is Spanish. Also WLOL 1330 was coming in with a Teaching Religion format at the time though.

KHND carries the Dakota News Network, based in Fargo owned by the ingstad family
