I heard PPM numbers came out today for Sacramento...any idea on who did what?
How did KSSJ fare?kinetic said:From memory...
98 Rock, The Eagle and KNCI were top three overall (the other country station didn't do badly though)
98 Rock was tops in mornings along Jack and I think Eagle. Tied for fourth: Capitol Public Radio. KGBY, 7th.
Big hits for the big AMs in their target (25-54): KFBK 7th in mornings and Armstrong & Getty down to 14th. Maybe Clear Channel should make more cuts.
Sorry I can't remember the breakouts but there were a few wakeup calls and a few sighs of relief and a few pleasant surprises, depending on who you were.
Seems to me this needs a year of numbers to really see any trends.

I agree. Just ask the employees of Entercom San Francisco. They sure miss their former employer.Michael Rivers Kramer said:RadioStarOne said:What about Bonneville?
They're looking at Citadel's ABC stations right now. I don't know if they're going to go for a buying spree. One thing is for certain, Bonneville treats their employees well.
RadioStarOne said:Could you imagine KGO San Francisco owned by Bonneville?Talk about a horror story! Not for Bonneville but for the employee's. YIKES!
Despite rigid programming standards, Would Bonneville tamper with the successful programming of KGO? Everyone thought that when Entercom took over Classical KDFC, That it would change formats. But here it is, almost 2 years later, and KDFC is still Classical.Michael Rivers Kramer said:RadioStarOne said:Could you imagine KGO San Francisco owned by Bonneville?Talk about a horror story! It would be interesting how they would deal with their more liberal hosts. They do treat their people well, but they have rigid programming standards and I find it hard to believe they would allow more progressive viewpoints on the air.
It could be a horror story if Bonneville were take over a station like KGO (who is a rare bird).
