Personality only works on a 1-1 basis LIVE! Personality with automation is Robot in Lost in Space, not Data in TNG. Those who listen to those types of stations, are either unable, unwilling, or too lazy to get an iPod. I've dealt with the diary and was a cold caller with Birch when they were still doing call outs. If all the methods could be employed, there might be a better sampling, until then, it is going to be what's accepted. Because most business don't play Spanish stations or Urban stations. They play Classic Hits stations so they don't offend customers and most people know the songs. Plain and simple. It's the PPM that's the sham. How else do you explain Q105 going from 18th place before the PPM to the top 5 after it hit Tampa Bay?? Nothing that they did changed, only PPM. That's what changed!
