New Orleans Predictions for 103.7 NoLa and 104.1 BR

Ahh, Voodoo returns. Should bring some Magic listeners over but probably not going to make a huge dent.
I don't know. Magic has been stale for 10+ years and sleepy at times. They've enjoyed being the only game in town, but it is hard to get people to change frequencies, especially to an unfamiliar one. Voodoo is bright and upbeat, but they'll need a strong public campaign to get some switching going on.

Just like Vibe in Baton Rouge, the true goal of Voodoo 2.0 might be to pull jusssst enough away from Magic and B to give WNOE a lane to creep up.
That is good logic. With clusters, one station may have a big role in reducing the share of a "big" competitor so that your cluster, overall, looks better. Sometimes a competitor may have a station that is so dominant in its demos it forces the cluster it is in to be on the buy... reduce the big stations with a side-swipe and make its cluster less of a "must buy".

Well of course...103.7 New Orleans will be the limiting factor...all LVZ is getting is a 3db increase in power....not worth it in my book ...AND I don't know whether 107.1 has co-channel but on 103.7 they sure will....tropo will beat it to death.... Dumb move by EMFi

It would make more sense if WLVZ move to 103.5 FM instead going to 103.7 FM it might help with overlapping or interference in some parts of South Mississippi.
