KTAR-FM continues to solidify its status as the "get off my lawn" station for geezers, as more younger listeners flee Mac & Gaydos - and the spectacle of hosts talking amongst themselves continues (but not with any callers, because they don't take listener calls during the week anymore.)
KFYI continues to solidify its status as this market's only true "talk radio" station, i.e., both its syndicated and local shows will continue to take listeners calls (making KTAR a Catskills vaudeville station by comparison.)
KJZZ will continue to get better numbers than KTAR and KFYI, and the NPR puzzle guy will no longer let callers play his games. Only the NPR co-hosts will be allowed to play. (Oh, I'm sorry, that's KTAR. My bad.)
Goldmine adds more hours of Radio Phoenix programming to its broadcast day.
KOOL adds "What's Going On" by 4 Non-Blondes to regular rotation.
KSLX adds Social Distortion. Finally.
KWSS-LP will continue to kick butt.
And 103.9 will finally pull the plug on its moldy-oldie 90's alternative format.
