Preparing for the Ellen-calypse

KSND airs Access Live at 1pm but the flagship Access Hollywood airs in the undesirable slot after Seth Myers at 1:37am. As the only NBC O&O carrying Wheel and Jeopardy going far back as New World pre FOX, I wish Access Hollywood should take the first half of the 2pm slot and the statewide California Live taking the second half at 2:30pm before Kelly Clarkson replacing Ellen so KNSD expand their 11am slot to a full hour. With NBC moving Days of Our Lives to their own freemium streamer Peacock in favor of a new hour long national newscast, NBCU O&O has to make significant options in syndication between Today and 4pm news (except NBC Bay Area KNTV) like picking up CBS distributed Rachel Ray which is shown on WBTS Boston and KNTV San Jose. Reply if u reached out to NBCU Stations Group about syndication changes following Days and Ellen cancellation.
Some of the NBC O&O’s are picking up Dateline

Isn't Dateline: True Crime once aired on KSWB before it was replaced by Judge Judy for a final season then reruns?
I am not sure. I just heard about it on here and on another board.

I would be surprised it will become the first CBS O&O that doesn't have a syndie show since 3pm & 6:30pm is that only ones left to fill
3:00 is Phil
6:30 is Wheel of Fortune

also 9am is an option for stations who carry LMAD in the afternoon (WCCO being one of them) but they have just more local news

KEYC Mankato (market 199) having a fluff news type show at 4 to 4:30 taking half of the Ellen spot. Don't know what is on yet from 4:30-5

Local entertainment, food, fashion, fun and more are on the agenda for your afternoon’s starting September 5th.
KEYC News Now is starting a new program, Kato Living, airing weekdays from 4 to 4:30 and will be hosted by Lisa Cownie and Kelsey Barchenger.
"We are excited to showcase the cast of characters and all of the places that make this region such a wonderful place to live, work and play! The show will be interactive and fun!,” said Cownie and Barchenger.
Kato Living will showcase what makes southern Minnesota and northern Iowa such a great place to live, work and play!

One note the show will probably be taped as the co-hosts are the morning anchors from 5:30-7am. Second note is all the stations in the Mankato DMA (CBS, NBC. FOX, CW+) are all owned by Gray so the newscasts are pretty much the same.

WWTV/WWUP is adding local news, but at 9am. This moves Kelly and Ryan back to 10am, which bumps LMAD back to 3pm (the Ellen slot), where it was until a few years ago.

Local news or another local lifestyle show they're adding? Because its more lifestyle again, this time at 9am with Good Day Northern Michigan.

NBC Right Now (KNDU/KNDO central/SE WA) Local News at 4 begins September 12th (per TitanTV)!

The article states they have more families working from home and they're trying to meet their needs and help them save money. How does it help to have a 4pm newscast?
The pandemic killed nearly 40 percent of the syndication menu something we never expected since 9/11

Update here, With KDOC and KOFY no longer in competition against KCOP, KCAL, KBCW, and KICU. Will the latter 4 stations pickup the leftovers? I feel that Steve Wilkos might fill KTLA's 2pm slot so how about the rest?
